How to Build a Portable Greenhouse - Introduction

THE GREENHOUSE, comes midway between the bush-house and the hot-house. (The summer-house is not in the same category, being intended for the protection of the family and not the plants!) The main difference between it and the hothouse is of course, the absence of a heating system. Warmth is supplied by means of the glass and coolness by operation of windows and blinds. Structure is much lighter; we are dealing here with a glasshouse that can be moved with the family - in other words "portable."
